3 - These "alien cells" have yet been observed formerly


Before 2005 these "alien cells" caught the attention of observers.
Indeed, an article published in 2001 in Acta Cytologica presents pictures of "nonidentified cells" found in most of BALF from patients diseased from pneumocystosis.
Attemps to identify these cells as a kind of human alveolar or bronchial cells failed.
These cells are the same as those we present in this gallery of pictures.
At that time, observers had not the key allowing to put a name on these anonymous cells.
